The East Coast beaches

The East coast beaches are Kalkudah, Passikudah, Nilaveli, Arugambay, and Marble beach. 

Out of them, Arugambay is the most famous beach, which is rated as one of the top ten surf destinations in the world.

The West Coast beaches

The west coast beaches are Negombo beach, Mount Lavinia, Kalautara, and Beruwala. Out of them, Negombo beach is the most famous one. It is well-known for its beauty and its centuries-old fishing industry.
