Day 1 | AIRPORT to SIGIRIYA
Travel Time – Approx. 3 1/2 Hrs | 155 kms.

Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake.
Your personal guide will give you a brief introduction and
commence the trip to Sigiriya.

Afternoon Cycle tour through the village to climb Sigiriya
Rock Fortress. one of the most extraordinary artistic
complexes of its time (477–498 AD). This magnificent
citadel, declared as a UNESCO heritage site in 1982, allures
artistic and architectural curiosity from around the globe.
En route visit a Typical local temple in the village.
Return to the hotel for 10 minutes ayurveda massage at

Day 2 | SIGIRIYA
After the Breakfast, proceed to Anuradapura sightseeing
tour of the Ancient capital of Anuradhapura (UNESCO). Visit
the ruins of the first capital founded in the 05th century BC
here is found the largest number of ancient monuments of
a great civilization. Buddhism found its first real home in Sri
Lanka at Anuradhapura, and it thus contains some of Sri
Lankan Buddhism’s most sacred sites.
Thereafter proceed on a Hiriwaduna Village trek and
cooking demonstration with lunch
Hiriwaduna village trek is an opportunity to be emerged in
the nature and culture of real Sri Lanka Village. Tour begins
with a Bullock cart ride or tractor ride near to the village
pond & at there you will experience a catamaran boat ride
to the next side of the rural village. After a short walk within
the paddy fields & vegetable cultivation, you can reach the
village house. At the village house you will have an
opportunity to witness the traditional way of cooking in Sri
Lanka & enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan Lunch. You will also
be able to taste the villagers’ kurumba (young coconut) or
king coconut.

Day 3 | SIGIRIYA
After breakfast visit CIC Agri Farm in Higurakgoda. CIC Seed
production Farm, the biggest in Sri Lanka, is located at
Hingurakgoda in the Polonnaruwa District. Hingurakgoda is
very famous for its paddy cultivation. The farm receives
irrigation water from the Minneriya reservoir through a
distribution channel. The total extent of the farm is 1300 acres.
The majority acreage of the farm (about 750 acres), is under
paddy and the highland area of the farm is utilized for the
production of perennial crops and livestock. CIC Seed Farm
has adopted modern agricultural techniques and enhanced
mechanization while protecting our traditional knowledge as
well as conventional agricultural methods. Lunch at the Agri
Farm.
Stop experience taste for Sri Lankan Fruits if time permite.

DAY 4 | SIGIRIYA - KANDY- NUWARAELIYA| Breakfast
Travel Time – Approx. 2 1/2 hrs | 90 kms
En-route, visit Dambulla Cave Temple, the magnificent rock
temple in Dambulla, a world heritage site built in the first
century BC. It is recognized to be the largest cave sanctuary in
the world with its 2000 m2 of walls and ceilings painted with
more than 150 Buddha images, the largest of which is engraved
in the rock and reaches 14 meters.
En-route visit a Spice Garden in Matale, experience an
Ayurvedic massage at the spice garden (10-15 minutes).
Thereafter, visit a Batik factory and witness the artistic process
and practices used to bring colours and designs on materials.

Afternoon, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic of the Buddha, the
founder of Buddhism. The sacred relic was brought to Sri Lanka
in the 4th century A.D. The sacred relic has ever since been the
symbol of sovereignty for its ruler and is always enshrined in
great splendour
Thereafter, enjoy a typical Sri Lankan cultural performance.

DAY 5 | KANDY - NUWARAELIYA
Travel Time – Approx. 2 1/2 hrs | 77 kms<
Breakfast at the hotel leave for Nuwara Eliya. you could either travel this
distance by vehicle or train.
A train journey is truly a rare experience and i
an adventure itself! Apart from the breathtaking sceneries of the tea
country and picturesque waterfalls, it is a chance for you to mingle with
the local people. (On availability)
Arrive, Check-in & Relax.
Afternoon visit a tea plantation and a factory. Here you will enjoy the
absolute tea experience, taking you from the moment the young tea
leaves are plucked from the plantation to being processed in the factory
to make a steamy cup of tea. If you are interested, the tea factory is the
best place to purchase good quality tea.
Afternoon proceed to Nuwara Eliya and sightseeing tour of Nuwara
Eliya.

DAY 6 | NUWARA ELIYA - YALA / TISSAMAHARAMA
Travel Time – Approx. 3 1/2 hrs | 144 kms
Transfer to Yala / Tissamaharama.
Arrive,check into the hotel.
Afternoon set on a jeep safari at the Yala National
Park. The Yala National Park is situated in the
South East of Sri Lanka and offers wildlife
enthusiasts an approach of life time to see wild
boar, deer, leopards, crocodiles, monkeys in their
national surroundings.
Return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay in
Yala / Tissamaharama
DAY 7 | TISSAMAHARAMA - BERUWALA
Travel Time – Approx. 3 hrs | 200 kms
After Breakfast Embark on the Curd Trail in Tissamaharama,
where you’ll uncover the rich tradition of curd-making in
mud pots. Witness skilled artisans transform fresh buffalo
milk into creamy curd using traditional wooden methods,
preserving age-old practices.
Thereafter proceed to Beruwala.
En route visit Galle Fort and Dutch Fort. set on a tour of the
Galle Fort its and Fortifications. This is a city that exudes an
essence with a perfect blend of past and present. Declared
as an UNESCO heritage site in 1988, the presence of
Portuguese, Dutch and English is very evident in the
fascinating architectural styles of the Galle Fort.
Thereafter boat ride at Madu River. It is the place where the
waterway Madu’s estuary is. The water streams over the
scene, framing a colossal measure of islands, and the ecosystem
creates a shocking wetland. The famous boat trip on
the Madu River is not something that you should miss.
