DAY 1: AIRPORT – NEGOMBO/CHILAW
Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the hotel at Negombo/Chilaw. (Travel time –approx. ½ hr to Negombo and 1 hour to Chilaw). Check in to the hotel and relax. In the afternoon, visit Muthurajawela and enjoy a nature tour on the Hamilton canal to Negombo lagoon on a small boat. If time permits, go on a sightseeing tour of Negombo. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. 3* Hotels: Goldi Sands or similar 4* Hotels: Jetwing Sea or similar
DAY 2: KANDY
After breakfast proceed to Kandy. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, and is a World Heritage Site. The name Kandy conjures visions of splendor and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. En route visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage where more than 80 orphaned & injured elephants are cared for. Thereafter visit a Spice Garden in Mawanella. Enlighten your-self with the different varieties of spices used in Sri Lankan cuisines, how the famous spices of Sri Lanka are grown and processed. DAY 3: KANDY
Early morning visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a city tour of Kandy in a tuk- tuk (three- wheeler). DAY 4: GIRITALE
After breakfast proceed to Giritale. Taste the lunch arranged at a paddy field (1.30 pm). Late afternoon, climb ‘The Sigiriya Rock Fortress’ – One of the wonders of the ancient world. DAY 5: GIRITALE
After breakfast, set on a guided tour of The Medieval Capital Of Polonnaruwa. DAY 6: MAHIYANGANAYA
After breakfast, visit the CIC Seed Farm, the biggest seed paddy production farm in Sri Lanka located at Hingurakgoda (Polonnaruwa District). Thereafter, proceed to Mahiyanganaya to visit Weddhas (Aboriginals of Sri Lanka). Thereafter visit the famous Mahiyanganaya temple where lord Buddha visited when he once came to Sri Lanka. DAY 7: HATTON
After breakfast proceed to Hill Country. The change in temperature will certainly take you by surprise. The road to Hill country snakes through the tea plantations. If you are in the mood you can stop on the way to mingle with the locals, to participate in tea plucking or just to enjoy the beautiful sights. Optional: Train Ride From Nanu – Oya (Nuwara Eliya) Station to Hatton Station – in addition to the breathtaking sceneries it is truly an wonderful experience. Upon reaching set on a sightseeing tour, visit a tea plantation and factory. Find out how tea leaves end up in a steamy hot cup. Don’t forget to grab a few fresh tea packets on your way out. DAY 8: RATHNAPURA

DAY 9: TISSAMAHARAMA
With packed breakfast, trek inside the beautiful Singharaja Rainforest with a forest department guide. Singharaja Forest Reserve is the most famous rainforest of the country. This tropical rain forest is a living heritage. This is a very good place to see many endemic birds such as Ceylon Lorikeet, Ceylon Wood Pigeon, Grey Hombill, Spotted Wing Thrush, Ceylon Blue Magpie and Legge’s Flower Pecker. Afternoon proceed to Tissamaharama. En route, enjoy an exclusive jeep safari to Udawalawe National Park to see Elephants. Udawalawe is an important habitat for water birds and Sri Lankan elephants. DAY 10: TISSAMAHARAMA
