DAY 1: AIRPORT to NEGOMBO| Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 4hr / 145km
A warm welcome awaits you at the arrival lounge of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake. Your personal chauffeur guide will give you a brief introduction and commence the trip to Negombo.

DAY 2: NEGOMBO to SIGIRIYA|Breakfast + Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 4hr / 145km
Early morning visit to the Fish Market. Negombo is home for the Island’s second largest fish market, as locals call – “Lellama”. Thereafter proceed to Sigiriya.Arrive at the hotel, Check – In & Relax. Afternoon proceed to Pidurangala and climb to the top of the rock. Discover one of Sri Lanka’s most talked about places of interest; Pidurangala. Located in close proximity to the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Pidurangala has a proud ancient heritage which is often overlooked by many who visit. From the rich history to the adventurous climb and glorious views at the peak, you’ll find all that you need to know right here!

DAY 3: SIGIRIYA | Breakfast + Dinner
After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of the most extraordinary artistic complexes of its time (477 – 498 AD). Declared as an UNESCO heritage site in 1982, this magnificent citadel allures artistic and architectural curiosity from around the globe.
Return to hotel.
Evening leave on bicycles or walking through Augandawa Village, visit the local temple and evoke blessings from the priest. Visit a villager’s house and enjoy a warm herbal drink (with Sri Lankan short eats) or a king coconut. Ride through the village passing paddy fields and Chena cultivations.
Return to the hotel.

DAY 4: SIGIRIYA to KNUCKLES | Breakfast + Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 4hr / 145km
After breakfast proceed to Knuckles. En route visit Dambulla Cave Temple. The magnificent rock temple in Dambulla, a world heritage site built in the first century BC. It is recognized to be the largest cave sanctuary in the world with its 2000 m2 of walls and ceilings painted with more than 150 Buddha images, whose largest engraved in the rock reaches 14 meters. Arrive Kandy, the Hill Capital (1514 – 1815 AD. Originally known as Senkadagala, the city eventually came to know as Kandy. Kandy was declared as an UNESCO heritage site in 1988. The style and character of the Sri Lankan civilization at the time is well articulated in the heart of the city itself. Thereafter, explore the city of Kandy & Bazaar at your own pace. Saunter around the Kandy Lake, the atmosphere alone will intrigue you to spend a few moments here.

DAY 5: KNUCKLES | Breakfast + Dinner
Early morning you will be picked up from the campsite by our guide and start your full day trek to for Knuckles Mountain Range. You will be transferred 22km from Kandy via Mahiyangana Road and then another 18km inland to start your trekking through paddy fields, tea plantations vegetable fields, spice gardens and plateaus. In this trek you will be climbing from 1200ft to 1850ft and its approximately 16-18km. You will be able to witness some of the species such as barking deer, deer, birds and many types of Lizards. At the end of the trail you are welcome to swim and relax in a nice waterfall. Drop off to the campsite by 5pm.

DAY 6: KNUCKLES to NUWARA ELIYA | Breakfast + Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 4hr / 145km
After breakfast proceed to Nuwaraeliya. Arrive check in and relax. Afternoon visit tea plantation and factory.Here you will enjoy the absolute tea experience, taking you to the moment the young tea leaves are plucked from the plantation to being processed in the factory to make a steamy cup of tea. If you are interested, the tea factory is the best place to purchase good quality tea.

DAY 7: NUWARA ELIYA to ELLA | Breakfast + Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 4hr / 145km
Morning leave for NanuOya Railway station for a scenic train ride. A train journey is truly a rare experience and is an adventure itself! Apart from the breathtaking sceneries of the tea country and picturesque waterfalls, it is a chance for you to mingle with the local people.(Train tickets are issued by the railway on a manual basis exactly 01 months before arrival therefore train journey is strictly on Availability)

DAY 8: ELLA to YALA | Breakfast + Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 4hr / 145km
Early morning climb Little Adam’s Peak and thereafter leave for Yala. On your way witness the picturesque waterfall- Rawana Waterfall.
Arrive at the hotel, Check – In at the campsite.
Spend your afternoon here on a guided game drive exploring the dynamic wildlife and the most luxuriant plant life in Yala National Park. Being one of the largest parks in Sri Lanka, it is the ideal place to sight the rare leopard!

DAY 9: YALA | Breakfast + Dinner
Early morning safari at Bundala National Park.
Late afternoon visits the Kataragama Temple. The Kataragama temple is one of the ancient sites which are revered by Hindus, Buddhists as well as the Veddas. The temple complex is a shrine to the Buddhist guardian deity Kataragama ‘deviyo’ and Hindu War God Murugan.
Enjoy BBQ Dinner at the campsite.

DAY 10: YALA to BENTOTA| Breakfast + Dinner
Travel Time – Approx. 4hr / 145km
Morning leave for Bentota, en route visit Galle Fort. Galle is a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. It’s known for Galle Fort, the fortified old city founded by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century. Stone sea walls, expanded by the Dutch, encircle car-free streets with architecture reflecting Portuguese, Dutch and British rule. Notable buildings include the 18th-century Dutch Reformed Church. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip.
